About Trip:
A magnificent extreme expedition mountain. All routes are difficult, whether ridges or straight climbing routes are chosen. A real challenge for experienced rock and ice climbers.
LOCATION
Khumbu/Rolwaling- Lumding Himal Teng Kangpoche, also called Thyangmoche is located on the ridge west of Kwangde Ri, south of Thame Valley. There are no recorded ascents.
Outline Itinerary
DAY 01 Arrival in Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel
DAY 02 Drive to Gundu (2,005m) one hour drive from Kathmandu for acclimatization. Accommodation in adventure Camp's luxury tents.
DAY 03 Morning sunrise view of the mountains. During the day you can visit Phulchoki,
the highest point overlooking Kathmandu Valley. Overnight at Camp.
day 04 fly to Lukla & trek to Phakding. Overnight at Himalayan Chain Resort (HCR)
day 05 trek to Namche Bazaar. Overnight in lodge
day 06 Trek to Khumjung. Overnight in HCR
day 07 Rest day at Khumjung for acclimatization & change of porters & yaks.
day 08 trek to thame Monastery. Overnight in lodge/tent
day 09 Trek to Thengpo. Overnight to tent.
day 10 trek to Base Camp (4,757m)
DAY 11-25 CLIMBING PERIOD
day 26 cleaning base camp
day 27 trek to Thamo. Overnight in lodge/tent
day 28 trek back to Khumjung. Overnight at HCR
day 29 trek back to Phakding. Overnight at HCR
day 30 trek back to Lukla. Overnight in lodge
day 31 fly back to Kathmandu. transfer to hotel
day 32 Kathmandu
day 33 departure from Kathmandu
