About Trip:
An interesting combination of rock and and ice climbing, essentially on a shap ridge. For top alpinists the direct rock route is a real and iunclimbed challenge. The mountain is easily accessed by the Everest Base camp Trail.
Outline Itinerary
DAY 01 Arrival in Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel
DAY 02 Drive to Gundu (2,005m) one hour drive from Kathmandu for acclimatization. Accommodation in adventure Camp's luxury tents.
DAY 03 Morning sunrise view of the mountains. During the day you can visit Phulchoki,
the highest point overlooking Kathmandu Valley. Overnight at Camp.
day 04 fly to Lukla & trek to Phakding. Overnight at Himalayan Chain Resort (HCR)
day 05 trek to Namche Bazaar. Overnight in lodge
day 06 Trek to Khumjung. Overnight in HCR
day 07 Rest day at khumjung for acclimatization & change of porters & yaks.
day 08 trek to Tengboche Monastery. Overnight in lodge
day 09 Trek to Dingboche. Overnight in lodge/tent
day 10 trek to Lobuche. Overnight at HCR
day 11 rest day at Lobuche for acclimatization.
day 12 Trek to Khumbu Tse Base Camp.
DAY 13-34 CLIMBING PERIOD.
day 35 cleaning base camp
day 36 trek back to Dingboche. overnight in lodge.
day 37 Trek back to Khumjung. Overnight at HCR.
day 38 trek back to Phakding. Overnight at HCR
day 39 trek back to Lukla. Overnight at lodge.
day 40 Fly back to Kathmandu. transfer to hotel
day 41 Kathmandu
day 42 departure from Kathmandu.
