About Trip:
Chumbu also known as Kanti Himal in Nepal, is a rarely climbed peak which has easy approach from Gorakshep on the Everest Trail. It is situated on the west side from the ridge which starts from Pumori.
Outline Itinerary
DAY 01 Arrival in Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel
DAY 02 Drive to Gundu (2,005m) one hour drive from Kathmandu for acclimatization. Accommodation in adventure Camp's luxury tents.
DAY 03 Morning sunrise view of the mountains. During the day you can visit Phulchoki,
the highest point overlooking Kathmandu Valley. Overnight at Camp.
DAY 04 Fly to Lukla & trek in Phakding. Overnight at Himalayan Chain Resort (HCR).
DAY 05 Trek to Namche Bazaar. Overnight in lodge.
DAY 06 Trek to Khumjung. Overnight in lodge.
DAY 07 Rest day at Khumjung for acclimatization & change of porters & yaks.
DAY 08 Trek to Dingboche.
DAY 09 Trek to Lobuche.
DAY 10 Rest day at Lobuche.
DAY 11 Trek to base camp.
DAY 12-22 CLIMBING PERIOD.
DAY 23 Cleaning up Base Camp. Trek to Lobuche.
DAY 24 Trek to Dingboche.
DAY 25 Trek to Khumjung.
DAY 26 Trek back to Phakding. Ovrnight at HCR
DAY 27 Trek back to Lukla. Overnight in lodge.
DAY 28 Fly Lukla to Kathmandu.
DAY 29 In Kathmandu.
DAY 30 Departure from Kathmandu.
