Ama Dablam is a beautiful mountain, located almost due south of Everest and Lhotse in the Khumbu region. It stands among many 22,000 to 24,000 foot peaks that surround the high valleys of this region, yet stands out by way of its classic beauty: It is a steep pyramid of ice with vertical walls and sharp, exposed ridges. Ama Dablam forms a lasting impression, as it is perhaps the most stunning mountain, together with Pumori along the popular trekking route to Everest Base Camp.
DAY 01 Arrival in Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel
DAY 02 Drive to Gundu (2,005m) one hour drive from Kathmandu for acclimatization. Accommodation in adventure Camp's luxury tents.
DAY 03 Morning sunrise view of the mountains. During the day you can visit Phulchoki,
the highest point overlooking Kathmandu Valley. Overnight at Camp.
DAY 04 Fly to Lukla & trek to Phakding. Overnight sat at Himalayan Chain Resort (HCR)
DAY 05 Trek to Namche Bazaar. Overnight in lodge.
DAY 06 Trek to Khumjung. Overnight at HCR.
DAY 07 Rest day at Khumjung for acclimatization & change of porters & yaks.
DAY 08 Trek to Tengboche Monastery. Overnight in lodge/tent
DAY 09 Trek to Amadablam Base Camp.
DAY 10-23 CLIMBING PERIOD
DAY 24 Cleaning base camp.
DAY 25 Trek back Base Camp to Khumjung. Overnight stay at HCR.
DAY 26 Trek back to Phakding. Overnight at HCR
DAY 27 Trek back to Lukla. Overnight in lodge.
DAY 28 Fly back to Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel.
