Lobuche East is an attractive summit with existing routes and new opportunites. Lobuche East is one of the hardest of the trekking peaks that commercial groups attempt. In the Everest region (Khumbu) only Kwangde and Kusum Kanguru are more difficult. Base camp is near a hidden lake at the base of the South-West face at 5551m.
DAY 01 Arrival in Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel
DAY 02 Drive to Gundu (2,005m) one hour drive from Kathmandu for acclimatization. Accommodation in adventure Camp's luxury tents.
DAY 03 Morning sunrise view of the mountains. During the day you can visit Phulchoki,
the highest point overlooking Kathmandu Valley. Overnight at Camp.
day 04 fly to Lukla & trek to Phakding. Overnight at Himalayan Chain Resort (HCR)
day 05 trek to Namche Bazaar. Overnight in lodge
day 06 Trek to Khumjung. Overnight in HCR
day 07 Rest day at khumjung for acclimatization & change of porters & yaks.
day 08 Trek to Tengboche Monastery (3,867m)with its famous Mani Rimdu Festival.
day 09 Trek in Dingboche. Overnight in lodge/tents.
day 10 trek to Lobuche. Overnight in lodge/tents
day 11 rest day at Lobuche for acclimatization.
day 12 trek to High Camp (5,357m)
day 13-15 CLIMBING PERIOD.
day 16 Trek back to Lobuche. Overnight at HCR.
day 17 Trek back to Dingboche. Overnight in lodge/tents.
day 18 trek back to Khumjung. Overnight at HCR.
day 19 trek back to Phakding. overnight at HCR
day 20 trek back to Lukla. Ovrnight in lodge.
day 21 Fly back to Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel.
